Our Story

Our History

“The CUSH” was an old pathway that stretched from the top of the pier along the cliff in Ballycotton and is well known by locals.

The pub has existed for over 100 years, with the establishment changing hands five times during that time. The imprint left by preceding generations has remained intact.

The pub has rich tapestry of history adorning the walls, with pictures of Ballycotton locals and visitors dating back to the early-1900s.

Steeped in history and full of character, warmth and heart, Cush is the perfect mix of old and new. The entire building has been tastefully redecorated, and the bedrooms given a modern makeover.

Doireann Flynn leads the front of house team to deliver a top class yet relaxed dining experience. Her team have worked hard to reflect the great Irish tradition of hospitality that has earned us an extremely loyal customer base.
