While the pub is often heralded as being the heart of a community, for the people of Ballycotton it has been the Cush pathway from which we take our name.

Known as a place of quiet romance, where young lovers stroll hand and hand along the cliffs to the sound of the rolling waves and the promise of real-life magic, it has long held a special place in the hearts of locals.

Of course, young love can often be fleeting but one thing has remained the same over all those years – CUSH.

Over a century later the little village pub, packed with character, still stands rooted in the landscape where the Atlantic meets the land and importantly where locals and visitors have continued to gather for food and warm conversation (with the odd stolen kiss too).

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

While we’ll always call the rugged coastline of Ballycotton home, our eye is firmly on the horizon.

Our new Midleton location is a testament to the support of locals and visitors alike as we begin our next chapter.

We may have a new postcode but the heart of the restaurant remains the same: a respect for our surroundings and the people who call this place home.

THE HOME OF MAGIC MOMENTS

At CUSH we truly believe laughter is brighter where food is best.

From milestone celebrations and long-awaited catch-ups with those who matter most to finally making it to the weekend, CUSH is proud to be the backdrop for magic moments both big and small.

What began as a family-run guesthouse has evolved into a Michelin-rated restaurant where stories unfold over loving crafted plates of unforgettable meals.
