Our History - CUSH Failte Ireland Safety Charter, East Cork ballycotton

CUSH awarded the Failte Ireland Safety Charter

Fáilte Ireland has issued sector specific guidelines for tourism and hospitality businesses to guide them in how best to meet the Government’s public health advice. Businesses were then given the opportunity to apply for the Covid-19 Safety Charter, where all employees undertake a specific training course to ensure health and safety within their business.

CUSH were awarded their health and safety charter after all staff successfully completed training. Doireann Flynn, Manager of CUSH, is very proud of all the staff;

“It has been a tough few weeks making sure that we are compliant with all government guidelines. Our staff have been working strenuously to ensure guest safety and comfort, and we can now display our Safety Charter in recognition of all their hard work. We have been blown away with all the well wishes and support from our regular customers, we hope this safety charter will reinforce their confidence in us”.

Sanitising stations, directional signage, 2 metres between tables and increased cleaning regimes are just some measures in place to guarantee guest safety at CUSH.
